What’s the best weapon set up in call of duty black ops?
What do you like to do?
If you like getting headshots, and one hit kills then:
LA96A (ACOG, Variable Zoom, or Ext. Mags) with CZ79 ext mags is what I use. (Python has too much recoil)
If you are playing Capture the Flag, and you like “Capturing” the flag then:
AK74u w/ grip and rapid fire and CZ79 ext. mags. Use a stun instead of a flash, just in case you need to slow the enemy flag runner down to shoot him. I use a tomahawk for quick kills, but I regret not using a grenade sometimes. Also have marathon pro and ghost pro when playing.
If you are more close range use a shot gun….I generally steer clear of them, but I HATE good shot gun users, cuse they get instant kills. They are good for flanking another team.
For TDM, depending on the map I use a sniper, assult rifle, or LMG. The only LMG ill use is the Stoner. Its DEADLY when ur good with it.
Free For All. I stick with a Assult rifle (Famas, M16, or G11) usually with ext. mags. Or the AK74u when I need to move around quicker. For the G11 steer clear of the attachments. M16, if you dont like the iron sights, red dot is the way to go.
On Domination you have a lit bit more flexability. If Im on a large map like array I use the LA96A w/ ACOG, but on smaller maps like Nuketown I stick with the Stoner63, or the famas both w/ ext. mags.
If you are playing an objective based game, like demolision, headquarter, domination, or CTF; and you are a defesive player, defends the objective, or returns falgs then I use:
M60 w/ ext.mags and grip. Have marathon, with lightweight. This is the only time I will use a LMG (besides the Stoner63….. I consider that an assult rifle on steroids)
My main weapon choices are the assult rifles, cuse they are easy to move around in, and can kill when needed. I dont generally like sub machine guns, cuse of their low mag size, and they high fire rate, and low rage. If you are good with submachine guns, go ahead…..I mean we’ve all had our fair share of deaths by a MP5K user. If you are going to use them I would use the MP5K, Kipris, PM63, or MAC11…they are all pretty stable. Use a grip, and ext mag (with warlord) cuse submachine gun reload time is the fastest.
For perks, I stick with scavenger, marathon, ghost, sleight of hand, warlord, or hardline…depending on my killstreaks and the game im playing.
For seconday weapons:
If your primary is a sniper, use a pistol, I like the Cz79 (The last one). The python has too much recoil in my opinion. The only place that I would use a python is in hardcore mode where it is a one hit kill.
If you are using ghost pro then use the strella to hunt down choppers and say planes to help your team…….BUT ONLY IN OBJECTIVE BASED GAMES. Theres no point using it in free-for-all or TDM. If you have scavenger pro use the M72LAW, cuse it also has free-fire too, so if a guy sneaks up on you you actually have a chance. If you have the strella, and an enemy sneaks up on you……well….good luck.
The only time I would use the crossbow is in search and destroy, or demolision, because thats the only place I need an acccurate explosive (Grenade Launcher attachments are for noobs who cant play worth ****) And lets face it the RPG dosent always get your targets. If you have scavenger pro, you get 4 arrows instead of 2 which is good.
The only place where i would use a ballistic knife is in Capture the flag, or a game where there are alot of close incounters. In capture the flag, when i have the flag….I usually hide out in a dark place with a claymore……But I need a one hit kill, just incase someone does find me, and the ballistic knife is the way to go.
China Lake is something I barley use…Its wayyyyyy too slow in my opinion. If you are inclined to use it….Id rather go with the grenade launcher attachment. The China lake could be useful in Domination, especially nuke town, but I generaly dont use it cuse i cant aim with it.
